Booking

I recommend that you book your session at least a couple of months before of your due date. As soon as your baby gets here, it is typically late nights and hard work for Mom and Dad. It is best to make sure that everything is lined up ahead of time and you don't have to worry with finding a photographer and booking a session!

Once you have booked a newborn session with me, I add your session into my books by birth month. Once your little sweetheart arrives, we will find a date and time that works best for you! Newborns are best photographed around 5-12 days old while they are still nice and sleepy. However, I do not want anyone to miss out on having their little one documented, so I will photograph a newborn style shoot up to eight weeks with the understanding that they may be awake during their session.

Planning

Together we will make the most out of your session by planning the perfect colors, styling and props to make your photos unique and perfect for you and your home for years to come. Each session includes props, outfits, headbands, hats, blankets, and etc. All you need to worry with bringing is baby, milk and a few extra diapers! The session can be as simple or elaborate as you like!​​​​​​​

*Each session includes a set number of digital images that you will receive via online gallery sent to your email. This doesn't mean this is the only images you can receive. Extra images of your choosing may be purchases at $10 per additional image.*

The Process

Half of your total will be due at time of booking to go toward your session and to reserve your spot. This goes towards your package total with the remainder due on your session date.

Once you have booked, I will send you a Newborn Questionnaire so that I can learn a little about your family/baby and what you like as far as colors, props and set styling. Close to time for your session I will also be emailing you a Prep Guide for your session so you will know what to expect!

Additional Info

*One thing I do offer, is I can come out to your home and bring everything needed for you session! It is .75 per mile from me to you and there will also be a $50 set up fee. If you have other small children (or an impatient spouse haha) I would definitely recommend considering this, as these sessions can be lengthy! Also, some mothers like to take the time during baby's session as a time to relax or get a few things done around the house! Just let me know if you would like a quote on this!
